The shop began with a shoebox of old letters — birthday cards, thank-yous, a few pages from a grandmother who wrote in careful blue ink. Nobody keeps a text message in a shoebox. That was the idea we built everything around: the things worth saving are the ones someone took the time to write out by hand.
